OUR STORY

We arrived in the Magallanes region searching for a quieter way of life. Over time, Torres del Paine slowly became our refuge.

One day, while exploring the park, we heard the vocalization of a puma calling for her cubs. That was when we met Blinka, the first puma we ever encountered. In some way, it felt as though she had found us first.

From that moment on, a deep curiosity began to grow. Over the years, it led us to spend more and more time in the field, observing, learning, and documenting the wildlife of Patagonia.

As time passed, friends, photographers, and travelers started joining us in exploring this territory. That is how Wild Frames Chile was born, from the desire to share the same experience that kept drawing us back to this place, again and again.

Today, we share a community brought together by the same curiosity, respect, and fascination for the natural world that first inspired us.

FIt was an incredible experience with two amazing people who are truly committed to helping you see the animals of your dreams.

I can’t express how incredible those two days were, with 5 pumas and many other animals.

I would also recommend staying more than 2 days to maximize your chances of seeing pumas.

WHAT OUR TRAVELERS SAY

LESLEY CUPIT

I spent an unforgettable day searching for pumas with Wild Frames Chile. Every detail — from the vehicle and picnic to the overall organization and guidance,  felt thoughtful, professional, and deeply connected to the experience itself.

The wildlife encounters throughout the day were incredible, including a surprising armadillo sighting. But the puma encounter was truly extraordinary: calm, intimate, and unhurried. At one point, the puma rolled onto its back and exposed its belly, reflecting just how relaxed and undisturbed it felt in its natural habitat.

I would recommend Wild Frames Chile without hesitation to anyone seeking an authentic and respectful wildlife expedition in Patagonia.

One of the most unforgettable experiences of my life. This expedition became one of the true highlights of my journey through South America and Antarctica.

Carolina and Gastón were exceptional guides — deeply knowledgeable about pumas, Patagonia, and the surrounding wildlife, while also being incredibly warm, thoughtful, and genuine people to share the experience with.

Encountering pumas in the wild was something I will never forget, and the entire expedition exceeded every expectation. I could not recommend Wild Frames Chile more highly to anyone seeking an authentic wildlife experience in Patagonia.

MARK TWEDT

Puma tracking with Carolina and Gastón was one of the most extraordinary wildlife experiences I have ever had. Throughout the expedition, we enjoyed multiple sightings, including the unforgettable experience of witnessing a puma hunt in the wild.

Their ability to interpret puma behavior and read the landscape through years of field experience made every encounter feel natural, respectful, and deeply immersive. Exploring Patagonia privately with just the two of them created an experience that felt personal, authentic, and truly connected to the territory.

From the wildlife encounters to the thoughtfully prepared food shared in the field, every detail contributed to an unforgettable expedition. I would recommend Wild Frames Chile without hesitation.
